The Crossroads Foundation has recently highlighted SLS Alum, Faith Whitley, ‘22! Here is what they had to say: “Faith is a freshman at the University of Notre Dame, majoring in Architecture with a dual minor in Sustainability and Poverty Studies. For her, architecture is an incredible way to incorporate all three of her passions: art, math and science. As a Crossroads scholar at Seton LaSalle Catholic High School, Faith always had a passion for helping others. Her dream is to be a leader as a community-based architect, designing safe places for others to grow, learn, and succeed.
"Through Crossroads, I completed a pre-architectural program at Carnegie Mellon University and a Crossroads internship at Hayes Design Group, which really prepared me for school. Crossroads not only pushes scholars to discover what we enjoy, but shows us how to build the best path possible to make our dreams happen. Thank you to everyone who gave me the opportunity to build a community through my education that wouldn't otherwise exist without Crossroads."
Faith is an example of how powerful an education can be and what supporting Crossroads does for young people throughout Pittsburgh…” We value and are so grateful for our partnership with The Crossroads Foundation!
