Susan Rone

After attending Columbia University Teachers College and working in Jersey City Public Schools, Mrs. Susan Rone and her husband Vincent moved to Pittsburgh from New Jersey in 2019. They live in Crafton with their two young children, Laurelin (three years old) and Oscar (nine months old). Mrs. Rone taught history for seven years before becoming an English teacher, and recently taught at Central Catholic High School in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Her favorite books are Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora  Neale Hurston, and The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd.
