Fr. Michael Ackerman

Fr. Michael Ackerman joined Seton LaSalle as co-chaplain in 2022. He currently serves as Pastor at Resurrection Parish in Bethel Park/Upper St. Clair and was ordained to the priesthood in 2014.

 

He grew up in Aspinwall and attended St. Scholastica Grade School, North Catholic High School, and Duquesne University where he obtained a BA in History and  M.S.Ed. in Education. He was a High School teacher prior to entering the seminary. Fr. Mike attended St. Paul's Seminary in Crafton and Theological College at the Catholic University of America where he obtained an S.T.B. in Theology and a Master of Divinity degree. Fr. Mike enjoys golfing, bowling, playing piano, reading, and prayer (of course). He is delighted to be a part of the Seton LaSalle community and looks forward to helping students, faculty and staff build a strong relationship with Christ.
