Cathreen Witte

Kate Witte joined the Seton LaSalle faculty in 2023. She graduated with a B.A. in History from Fordham University in New York and received a M.S.Ed in Reading and Language Arts from Duquesne University. Kate is a Pennsylvania-certified reading specialist (K-12) and secondary social studies teacher. 

Kate began her teaching career in Harlem, NY, and later moved to St. Benedict the Moor School in the Hill District. After staying home to raise her sons for many years, she returned to the classroom, working in middle and high schools in Pittsburgh.

Kate enjoys spending time with her four sons and large extended family. She is excited to be a part of the Seton LaSalle community.
