Stage Crew

The experience of the theater is on stage and off. Stage Crew is a crucial element of any production, as the experience of theater is both on and off the stage. Seton LaSalle's Stage Crew gives students the opportunity to be involved with the Fall Drama and Spring Musical behind the scenes.


STAGE CREW DEPARTMENTS

  • Sound: Lays out microphones, adjust volumes and sound effects
  • Lights: Maps out lighting cues for production, learns color balance, manages spotlights
  • Costumes: Assists Costume Manager with selection for cast, helps dress/undress cast, applies makeup
  • Props: Gets necessary props for scenes, helps decorate set
  • Backstage: Runs flys and curtains during show, moves props on and off stage
  • Construction: Builds and helps decorate set
